A product of mateship, the Brocks Reef range is produced using best parcels of fruit selected from neighbouring premium vineyards across the Limestone Coast.

The 2006 growing season provided excellent conditions for fruit production, delivering medium yields and achieving warm and well-balanced fruit characters.  Our cabernet merlot is a blend of some of the best parcels of fruit available in the region. All batches are fermented separately in stainless steel fermenters, then matured in French barriques for 18 months, before being carefully blended.

This clever blend of 75% cabernet and 25% merlot has an elegant bouquet of plum, mulberry and hints of sage, while the palate is medium-bodied with great fruit intensity and well-integrated oak.
