The 2006 growing season was outstanding for both semillon and sauvignon blanc with the perfect balance between new world style ripe, tropical fruit and the traditional grassy fruit characters that are typical of these two classic Bordeaux varieties.  This blend of 80% semillon and 20% sauvignon blanc is produced from some of the best parcels of fruit available in the region. Gentle winemaking has preserved the fruit characters from the vineyard and created a well-balanced, immensely drinkable style of wine. 

The aroma shows lime, with hints of asparagus and hay.  On the palate the wine is medium-bodied, with citrus, subtle toast and a refreshingly dry finish.
