Surfs Up at CAPE JAFFA WINES
Cape Jaffa Wines introduces its latest range ‘The Set’ which barrels out a fun, fresh and relaxed harmony.
MOUNT BENSON - Monday 23 January 2012: Cape Jaffa Wines (www.capejaffawines.com.au) has found another clever and creative approach to market the next chapter of its biodynamic brand. Cape Jaffa ‘The Set’ was unveiled with the arrival of summer and just like the swell at the local surf beach, has since been in hot pursuit.
This slick surfboard style label reflects the Hooper family’s quest for the ideal ‘break’ – that balance between work and play, and the never-ending search for nature’s perfection, in the bottle...and at the beach. Printed on Enviro Stock this locally designed label reinforces Cape Jaffa’s sustainable conscience and deep respect for the environment. Having a harmonic and close environmental connection allows production of terroir driven, regionally distinctive wines of integrity and quality.
‘The Set range consists of three wines; Sauvignon Blanc, Unwooded Chardonnay as well as a light red blend, Shiraz Cabernet Merlot. Both whites are crisp, aromatic styles produced using gentle meticulous winemaking techniques. The red blend features a ripe, fruit-forward nose with chocolaty undertones followed by a balanced palate with soft tannins. Cape Jaffa’s newest range represents quality and excellent value for money; it is the perfect accompaniment to a beach barbeque, Sunday lunch or a weeknight glass.
In addition to ‘The Set’ range, Cape Jaffa Wines has also just released a new addition to its premium La Lune range – the 2011 vintage Rosé de Syrah. This purpose picked rosé features strawberries and cream on the nose whilst the palate is a clever balance of lingering cherry and cleansing acid on the finish. This wine will delight those who enjoy a refreshingly dry style!
