Cape Jaffa Wines receives best business accolade.

Cape Jaffa Wines wins Best Business category at the Influential Women in Business Awards for 2011. 

 

MOUNT BENSON – 3rd June 2011: Cape Jaffa Wines (www.capejaffawines.com.au) has been awarded Best Business at the 2011 Influential Women in Business Awards hosted by Women in Business & Regional Development Inc (WIBRD), whose mission it is, to ignite the potential of women by encouraging, supporting and training businesses and promoting leadership skills.  Anna Hooper accepted the award on behalf of Cape Jaffa Wines.

 

The Influential Women in Business Awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of women in business throughout the limestone coast region.  Entries are open to women who are enjoying success in building their own business, and to female employees who have made an outstanding impact in contributing to the success of the business.

 

Awards are presented based on a written submission. Entrants are asked to provide an overview of their business, detail significant achievements and initiatives, and share some of the secrets of their success, from setting goals to effectively achieving a work life balance.

 

Through the entry Anna’s efforts at Cape Jaffa Wines were highlighted including the integral role she played in helping Cape Jaffa Wines achieve biodynamic certification.   Cape Jaffa Wines was also commended for its commitment to the environment and sustainability through involvement in a range of community projects designed to help sustain the local area for future generations.

 

Anna Hooper was presented with a voucher for a full day group, corporate training program to be held at the Noorla Yo-Long Blue Light Outdoor Adventure camp.  “This prize will be a great opportunity for the Cape Jaffa Wines team to participate in leadership development activities as well as challenge our team dynamics” said Anna Hooper.
