2010 was a vintage of early ripening and mild temperatures leading up to harvest, providing ideal growing conditions for this purpose-picked shiraz.  The fruit for this rosé was picked two weeks earlier than those shiraz blocks marked for red wine production, meaning the fruit was harvested at the perfect maturity, ripeness and acidity levels to produce a dry, refreshing style of rosé.  the berries were whole punch pressed allowing very limited contact with skins to achieving a bright ruby-red colour.

This shiraz rosé boasts a mouthful of ripe raspberry and strawberry on the nose, with a clever balance of lingering cherry and cleansing acid on the finish.
