Cape Jaffa Prosecco
Tasting notes: Lifted aromatics of green apple and lime. Palate is fresh with sweeter floral characters and balanced with zesty acidity and a lively bead.
Winemaking: Produced by the Charmat Method. This method involves primary fermentation of a base wine followed by an addition of sugar and yeast for a second fermentation. The second fermentation takes place in a pressurised tank which gives natural carbonation from Carbon Dioxide produced by the yeast during ferment.
Cellaring: This wine is made to be enjoyed now while it is young and fresh.
Food Pairing: Prosecco is generally sweeter than other sparkling wines - in other words it’s the perfect wine for a tea party ....try canapés and finger food - Italian style, of course! Or just have on its own..the perfect aperitif!
