NV Cape Jaffa Prosecco
Style: Light and refreshing, with lifted aromatics of green apple and lime.
Inspiration: A lively, refreshing and lighter Italian fizz produced by the Charmat method. This method involves a primary fermentation of a base wine followed by an addition of sugar and yeast for a second fermentation. The second fermentation takes place in a pressurised tank which gives natural carbonation from Carbon Dioxide produced by the yeast during ferment.
Palate is fresh with sweeter floral and musk characters and balanced with a zesty acidity and lively bead. We wanted to make a lighter style of sparkling perfect to enjoy on long Summer days.
Cellaring: This wine is made to be enjoyed now while it is young and fresh.
Food Pairing: Prosecco is generally sweeter than other sparkling wines - in other words it’s the perfect wine for a tea party... try canapés and finger food - Italian style, of course! Or just have on its own..the perfect aperitif!
