Our Small Batch range explores varieties and winemaking techniques, with craft and creativity at the core of every wine.

Fermented in concrete for ten days before maturing in natural French puncheons to build texture without overt oak influence.

The aroma shows blackberry and boysenberry, layered with subtle savoury notes of saltbush and pimento.

The palate is supple and composed, with soft, rounded tannins, balanced natural acidity and a persistent finish.

Pairs well with rich dark meats, mushrooms and blue cheese.

Unfined and unfiltered.

Only 2,100 bottles produced.

Our Small Batch range explores varieties and winemaking techniques, with craft and creativity at the core of every wine.

Using the French tirage method to create secondary fermentation in bottle, this Pétillant Naturel-style wine blends Pinot Gris and Chardonnay with a splash of Merlot and Gewürztraminer. Matured in French barriques.

The nose shows savoury, nutty complexity with lifted citrus notes and a hint of gentle spice.

Bright and lively, the palate delivers fresh citrus flavours layered with subtle spice and texture.

Pairs well with seafood, goat’s cheese, fried chicken, Margherita pizza and fish ’n’ chips.

Picked exclusively from the Cape Jaffa Winesvineyards, the CJ Epic Drop Shiraz is true to the Mount Benson style; savoury, meaty and salty leading to rich layers of blackberry. A palate with persistent, round tannins and subtle oak influence. A lingering and bold finish.
