Cape Jaffa Wines Returns & Refunds Policy

Cape Jaffa Wines complies with Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may request a repair, replacement, or refund. This policy explains how to make a claim.

Change-of-Mind Returns
Wine

Because our wines are produced in small batches, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind once goods have left the Cellar Door or been shipped.

Merchandise (glasses, apparel, etc.)
Unused, unopened merchandise in its original packaging may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required, and the customer is responsible for return freight.

Order Errors
If you ordered the wrong item, please email us within 24 hours of placing your order and we’ll do our best to amend it before dispatch.

Gift Cards

  • Are valid for 36 months from date of purchase.

  • Are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

  • Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.

  • Cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards.

Faulty or Damaged Goods
Inspect your delivery as soon as it arrives. If any bottles are broken, leaking, or visibly damaged, email wine@capejaffawines.com.au within 3 days of receipt. Include your order number, a brief description of the fault, and clear photos of the affected items and packaging. Once verified, we will issue a prepaid return label (or authorise safe disposal) and send a replacement or process a full refund to the original payment method.

Weather Damage
We cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for wine harmed by extreme temperatures during shipment. If you’re concerned about weather, contact us before ordering so we can suggest a safe shipping window.

Contact → Assessment → Prepaid label → Refund within 5–7 business days.
