Vintage 2026

Not for the faint-hearted…

Recent varying weather has certainly kept this vintage interesting; demanding patience and fast decisions.

Despite challenging conditions, our wines are looking good. Some will require time before being bottled and we’re already looking forward to sharing them with you in the coming years.

Vintage ‘26 ~ From pruning to cellar door…

In the meantime, we have some new releases ready to pour…

has the typical Mount benson bold coastal character. Fermented for ten days on skins and matured in 25% new oak, it opens with plum, cherry and hints of white pepper before moving into rich layers of dark fruit and black plum. The palate is full-bodied and generous, with round tannins, subtle oak influence and a long, savoury finish.

is juicy blackberry and boysenberry and subtle savoury notes of saltbush and spice. Soft tannins and balanced natural acidity. Fermented in concrete and matured in natural French puncheons, it is unfined and unfiltered, with only 2,100 bottles produced.

It’s bright and lively, made from Pinot Gris and Chardonnay with a splash of Merlot and Gewürztraminer. It’s cloudy, unfiltered and textural, with lifted citrus, gentle spice and a clean, refreshing finish. Only 680 bottles were produced. This one’s unlikely to sit around for long.

Cheers,

Anna
